How To Set Up Your Wii Game Controller

Video games are much more fun with a Wii, since the console uses motion-sensing technology to make your favorite games interactive.

First, you should open the back of your Wiimote and place two AA batteries on the battery panel.

Be sure to leave the cover off of the panel after you’ve inserted the batteries. Turn on the Wii console from the front. Allow the Wii to cycle to the main menu.

The next step in installing the Wii game controller is opening the front door on the console.

All you’ll need to do is press the ‘Home’ button on the Wii game controller and choose ‘reconnect.’ This will definitely come in handy when you want to change the player/controller layout without having to use several Wii remotes.
